About Taipei

Fall is considered the most comfortable season to visit Taipei due to low rainfall and pleasant mid-20°C temperatures, while spring from March to May offers comfortable weather and vibrant floral displays across the city. Summer is the high season with heavy crowds and temperatures exceeding 30°C, though visitors can enjoy dragon boat races in June or fireworks at Dadaocheng Wharf. The cooler low season from November to March drops to 13–18°C, creating ideal conditions for outdoor adventures, hot springs, and the Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival in mid-February. Additionally, October hosts Asia's largest LGBTIQ+ Pride parade around City Hall, followed by the all-night Nuit Blanche art festival in early November.
